2025 Ford F-150 vs. 2025 RAM 1500: Which Truck Offers More?
The Ford F-150 has been the best-selling vehicle in the United States for over 40 years, and the new F-150 is better than ever. Upgrades include the advanced BlueCruise 1.4 hands-free driving system. Other full-size trucks, such as the RAM 1500, have high-tech features, but they can't match the overall versatility of the F-150. Vogler Motor Company created the following comparison of the 2025 Ford F-150 versus the 2025 RAM 1500 to help you decide for yourself which truck is best.

Performance & Capability
For many of our customers, the biggest reason for buying a truck is its capability. If you need to pull a hefty trailer or haul a load of construction supplies, the Ford F-150 can do it. It has a class-leading towing capacity of 13,500 pounds, and it can haul a maximum payload of 2,445 pounds when properly equipped. The RAM 1500 has a max tow rating of 11,560 pounds and a max payload capacity of 2,300 pounds with the right configuration.
The Ford F-150 offers you a choice of six engines to get the muscle or fuel economy you need, ranging from a twin-turbocharged V6 with 325 horsepower, to a supercharged V8 generating a whopping 720 horsepower. The RAM 1500 only gives you three engine options. Its strongest engine produces 540 horsepower.

Technology
You want a truck that helps you work smarter, rather than harder. It should also have technology that helps you to better enjoy the down time between tasks or worksites. The Ford F-150 comes standard with an easy-to-use Sync 4 infotainment system with a 12.3-inch touchscreen. The RAM 1500's standard infotainment system only has an 8.4-inch touchscreen.
The Ford F-150 offers an available Pro Power Onboard feature, which essentially turns the F-150 into a generator. This allows you to power up appliances, lights, music, or other entertainment for your tailgate party or camping trip. The RAM 1500 doesn't offer an onboard power generator.
Interior & Exterior
Both the Ford F-150 and the RAM 1500 have appealing exteriors, so styling is mostly a matter of personal taste. Both trucks also have a wide array of interior creature comforts. However, the Ford F-150 offers a special two-tone exterior and interior design in King Ranch models that's unlike anything available in the Ram 1500.

Trim Levels
The 2025 Ford F-150 is available in nine trim levels, ranging from a basic work truck to an off-road speed machine to an all-out luxury vehicle - the King Ranch trim. The RAM 1500 comes in eight trim levels.
